Privacy Policy
Information processed
PhotoPoint processes studio name, contact details and branding; account mobile/email and password hashes; device and licence identifiers needed for activation; projects, photo references, uploaded previews or originals, selections and notes; and security or usage records such as sign-in attempts, storage counts and upload status. Local desktop projects stay on your computer unless you choose to upload or publish them. Public studio pages show the branding/contact fields the studio publishes, which can differ from private login details.
Purpose and service providers
This information supports authentication, licence verification, gallery delivery, upload recovery, customer selections, notifications, support and abuse prevention. Hostinger hosts the PhotoPoint portal and database; Cloudflare provides hosted assets and related services; a connected Google Drive account stores the photos you upload there. Selected providers process email or WhatsApp OTP delivery. Provider access is limited to the functionality you enable. We do not sell personal information. Disclosures required by law may also apply.
Gallery and photo privacy
The studio must have permission to publish photos and customer details, including appropriate permission for photos of children. A gallery link can be forwarded. Studios can use gallery passwords and download controls; a public link alone is not proof of customer identity. Face-search features may process image-derived face information for matching; studios must explain their use and obtain any required permissions. Do not upload sensitive content to an unrestricted gallery.
Sessions, OTP and communications
Essential cookies maintain browser sign-in. Stay signed in persists until logout or account/security invalidation, subject to browser storage limits. OTPs expire after ten minutes and have retry limits. The same requested code can be delivered to the registered email and WhatsApp number when both are configured. We never send your existing password. Company announcements appear inside PhotoPoint and the studio portal; in-app publication does not send an email or WhatsApp broadcast. Marketing communications require an appropriate basis and an opt-out route.
Retention and your choices
New customer-link access lasts up to three months from first creation; earlier project expiry can apply. Studio licence expiry and 30-day hosted cleanup follow the Terms. Gallery expiry closes access and does not itself promise deletion of your Google Drive or local files. Cleanup retains minimal studio/account information and old URL reservations; security, transaction or legally required records may have separate retention obligations. Ask your studio about its own photo retention. Contact EditPoint India to request access, correction or deletion of account information, to disconnect integrations, or to raise privacy concerns. Identity verification and applicable retention duties may affect the response.
Security
Passwords are hashed, sensitive connection credentials are protected, and HTTPS is required for the portal. No security method removes every risk. Studios should protect shared login details, sign out on shared devices and maintain backups. External services have their own privacy policies.
